for 2008:
Estate Planning for
Domestic Partners
Date: Tuesday, January
29, 2008 @ 7:00 pm
Jeffrey G. Marsocci, attorney and author of Estate Planning for
Domestic Partners, will conduct a free
life and estate planning workshop focusing the unique goals, tactics
and legal documents domestic partners can use to provide themselves
many of the same legal rights married couples possess.
The workshop will be held in the conference room of Triangle Community
Works at 410 North Boylan Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27603. Topics of discussion
will include:
1) Typical domestic partner life and estate planning goals;
2) Why Wills and Joint Property create more problems than they
solve; and
3) The single best planning solution to provide domestic partners
as much marriage equality allowed under current law.
